Millions of Indians are working in various service sectors, be it central Government, State Governments, Municipalities, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), autonomous organizations and bodies and in private sector. It is always desirable that employee works hard, with full dedication and sincerity for the progress and beneficence of the organization in this he/she works. However, it is not necessary that the employer and employee always enjoy good relations. Sometimes these disputes are due to the deficiencies in the expected output or even behaviour of the employee but often employees have complaints against the organization. Many of these could be genuine. However, the lower wrung of employees can not dare to challenge even the high-handed behavior or decisions against the employee. Most important reason is high cost and long pendency of legal battle. Some of these matters can be resolved by submitting legally and administratively genuine representations and even talking mutually. However, for this, the employee must understand the duties and rights of his own as well as the administrative and or legal remedies to resolve such matters.
